Ingredients
Scale
Cream Mixture
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (4 oz) mascarpone cheese
- 9 oz white baking chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar, divided
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Assembly
- 2 packages (3 oz each) ladyfingers, split
- â…” cup orange juice
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- Chocolate syrup (optional, for drizzle)
Instructions
- Prepare the Whipped Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set the whipped cream aside for folding into the cream mixture later.
- Make the Creamy Mixture: Beat together the cream cheese and mascarpone cheese until fluffy and smooth. Gradually add the melted and cooled white baking chocolate, half of the confectioners’ sugar (½ cup), and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined. Gently fold the reserved whipped cream into this mixture to maintain its light texture.
- Layer the Tiramisu: Lightly brush half of the ladyfingers with half of the orange juice, and arrange them evenly in a 13×9-inch dish. Spread half of the cream mixture over these ladyfingers, then top with half of the sliced strawberries.
- Add the Second Layer: Brush the remaining ladyfingers with the remaining orange juice and place them over the strawberry layer. Mix the remaining ½ cup of confectioners’ sugar into the leftover cream mixture, then fold in the rest of the whipped cream. Spread this evenly over the top layer of ladyfingers.
- Top & Chill: Arrange the remaining sliced strawberries over the top cream layer. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
- Serve: Just before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired for an added touch of sweetness and decoration.
Notes
- For best results, chill the tiramisu overnight to enhance the flavor infusion.
- You can substitute orange juice with a mild fruit juice like white grape or a light liqueur if preferred.
- Ensure the white chocolate is fully melted and cooled to prevent the mixture from curdling.
- Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor and texture.
- This dessert is best served cold and consumed within 2 days for freshness.
