Ingredients
Scale
Fudge Base
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Add-ins
- 1/2 cup chopped dried cherries
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds or pistachios (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the baking dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to help lift out the fudge easily after setting.
- Melt the base: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly to prevent burning, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
- Add flavorings and mix-ins: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract, chopped dried cherries, a pinch of salt, and the chopped nuts if using. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- Set the fudge: Quickly pour the smooth mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to smooth the top evenly. Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm.
- Serve: Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into 36 small squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- You can substitute dried cherries with dried cranberries for a different tartness.
- Try mixing in mini marshmallows or shredded coconut for a fun texture variation.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks to maintain freshness.
