Ingredients
Scale
Brownie Base
- 1 box (18–20 oz) brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as called for on the box)
Peanut Butter Frosting
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk (as needed)
Toppings
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 1/4 cup mini peanut butter cups or candy pieces (optional)
- Chocolate or peanut butter drizzle (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie base: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 12-inch round pizza pan or line it with parchment paper. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions, adding the eggs, oil, and water as directed. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly for uniform thickness.
- Bake the brownie: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is just slightly fudgy. This ensures the brownie stays soft but holds together well. Remove from oven and let the brownie cool completely in the pan.
- Make the peanut butter frosting: In a medium bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add milk one tablespoon at a time until the frosting reaches a spreadable consistency that’s easy to apply.
- Assemble the pizza: Spread the peanut butter frosting evenly over the cooled brownie base using a spatula or the back of a spoon.
- Add toppings: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, and optional candy pieces like mini peanut butter cups over the frosting. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate or peanut butter over the top for extra flavor and decoration.
- Chill and serve: Place the assembled brownie pizza in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to set the frosting and toppings. Once chilled, slice into 8–10 wedges and serve.
Notes
- Customize toppings with pretzels, caramel bits, or crushed cookies to add more texture and flavor.
- Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days to maintain freshness.
- For a firmer crust, bake the brownie a minute or two longer but watch carefully to avoid overbaking.
- If you prefer a thicker frosting, reduce the milk or add a bit more powdered sugar.
