Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 1 box Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Coating & Decoration
- 8 oz white chocolate or vanilla almond bark
- Red and green sanding sugar or sprinkles
- Mini candy stars or decorative toppers (optional)
- Lollipop sticks or toothpicks (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cake Base: In a large mixing bowl, crumble the Christmas Tree Cakes using your hands or a food processor until the pieces are finely broken down. Add the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, then mix until the ingredients are fully combined into a smooth, dough-like consistency.
- Form the Bites: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll each portion into a ball. Place these balls on a parchment-lined tray and freeze them for 20 to 30 minutes, allowing them to firm up for easier dipping.
- Melt the Coating: While the bites are chilling, melt the white chocolate or vanilla almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in 30-second intervals. Stir between intervals until the coating is completely smooth and melted.
- Dip and Decorate: Remove the chilled cheesecake bites from the freezer. Dip each bite into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off, then place them back onto the parchment-lined tray. Immediately decorate with red and green sprinkles or sanding sugar, and add mini candy stars or decorative toppers if desired.
- Set the Coating: Let the coated bites set at room temperature or refrigerate them until the chocolate hardens completely. For serving, keep them chilled or bring to room temperature for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- You can use either vanilla or chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes—both variations work equally well.
- To make cheesecake pops, insert lollipop sticks before dipping the bites in chocolate.
- Store these cheesecake bites in the refrigerator for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
