- 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk

- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer to help it set.
- Make the cream cheese layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over the chilled cookie crust.
- Prepare the pudding layer: In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 to 3 minutes until the pudding thickens. Spread this thick pudding layer evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Add the topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer smoothly. Then sprinkle the mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate evenly over the top for garnish and added texture.
- Chill: Refrigerate the layered dessert for at least 4 hours, or until fully set. This ensures the layers firm up and the flavors meld beautifully. Serve chilled.
