Description

Buffalo Chicken Dip Croissants are a deliciously spicy and cheesy appetizer featuring shredded chicken mixed with buffalo sauce and cream cheese, all wrapped in buttery crescent roll dough. Perfect for game days, parties, or a tasty snack, these croissants bake to golden perfection and can be served with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • ¼ cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Dough

  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Optional Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, ranch or blue cheese dressing, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated into a creamy, spicy filling.
  3. Prepare crescent rolls: Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Fill the dough: Place a spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Carefully roll each triangle up starting from the wide end, folding the sides slightly to tuck in and seal the filling so it doesn’t leak out during baking.
  5. Arrange on baking sheet: Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart. For an extra golden finish, optionally brush the tops with melted butter before baking.
  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are puffed up and golden brown, and the filling is heated through.
  7. Garnish and serve: After baking, sprinkle with chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm with celery sticks and additional ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
