Description

A savory and satisfying breakfast pizza that combines a crispy pizza crust topped with melted mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, fresh eggs baked to your liking, crispy bacon, breakfast sausage, and colorful bell peppers and green onions. Perfect for brunch or a special breakfast-for-dinner treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust & Base

  • 1 prepared pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Cheeses

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, sliced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Crust: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place your pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone and lightly brush the surface with olive oil to promote a crispy base.
  2. Add Cheese: Evenly sprinkle both the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the oiled crust, creating a cheesy foundation for your breakfast pizza.
  3. Add Eggs and Toppings: Carefully crack the eggs onto the pizza, spacing them evenly so each slice will have some egg. Then sprinkle the cooked bacon, crumbled sausage, diced red bell pepper, and sliced green onions evenly over the top. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper for flavor.
  4. Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the egg whites set and the yolks reach your preferred doneness. For firmer yolks, extend baking by 2–3 minutes.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice into 4 pieces and serve warm for a delightful breakfast or brunch experience.

Notes

  • Customize your pizza with favorite toppings like spinach, mushrooms, or avocado to suit your taste.
  • If you prefer no runny yolks, scramble the eggs before adding them to the pizza.
  • This pizza is versatile and works great as breakfast, brunch, or even breakfast-for-dinner!
